Overview
During my time as a Software Engineer at Diabatix, I helped build pyColdStream, the official Python library for the Diabatix ColdStream REST API.
The goal was to give engineers and researchers a simple, programmatic way to work with the ColdStream thermal design platform. The library supports automated simulation runs, status tracking and output downloads.
Key Contributions
- Test infrastructure: Added comprehensive unit tests to check API payload compliance and robust error handling.
- Automation pipeline: Set up GitHub Actions CI/CD workflows that run the tests and publish updates automatically, which makes the library easier to maintain.
- Tooling: Built accompanying Python automation tools for post-processing simulation output, including ParaView handling and file format converters.
